Our Heritage
For 30 years, Cornerstone Christian Academy has been a cornerstone of the Statesville, North Carolina community. We provide a nurturing and Christ-centered education to students from pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade. Our story is one of dedication, growth, and a unwavering commitment to helping young minds flourish in a spiritual and academic environment.
Filling The Educational Void
Cornerstone Christian Academy was founded in 1994 by Bobby and Renee Griffith. At that time, there were no academic options in the Statesville area that provided a truly customized, individualized education for every child.
CCA was founded to fill that void, creating a place where students could receive a strong academic education while deepening the understanding of their faith.
Building A Solid Foundation For Growth
In 1997, we laid the foundation for learning with the completion of CCA’s first building. As the student body grew, we expanded our campus in 2008, providing much-needed space and resources.
A further expansion was completed in 2017 with a satellite campus opened in 2021.
The Growth Continues
Construction is underway on the Upper Learning Center's building at our main campus. This exciting project includes a state-of-the-art gymnasium, slated for completion in Fall 2024.
We can't wait to see our students enjoying this new space for physical education and extracurricular activities!
